Week 1 Prayer and Praise Report

PRAISES

• Praise that a sister’s daughter will be joining our group in October.

• Daughter has been away at college for a month at Idaho State. She has found a church and has a great group of girls to be with.

• Husband was out walking his dog at night, tripped and fell, broke his nose and messed up his face and hand. Praise he didn’t have a head injury or something worse.

• Praise in son’s life and his strength during an ugly divorce.

• Friend had colon cancer and is now fine.

• Praise for finding a new home.

• Saving of her grandsons.

• Restarting work – UPS.

• New faces here at group.

• Excited and grateful to be here at group. Looking for a bible study.

• Husband did well during the whole process of getting a wisdom tooth pulled.

PRAYER REQUESTS

• Sister has been diagnosed with a

rare cancer, Peritoneal Mesothelioma. Going through chemo treatments.

• Brother diagnosed with kidney cancer.

• High School friend has cancer.

• Co-worker has cancer.

• Father, 92 years old, has no hobbies, and still wants to build. Worried about him.

• Prayer for sister who needs a job.

• Prayer for work harmony as a Team Lead. Need prayer for tomorrow’s meeting, to come together as a team.

• Dear friend is going through chemo treatments.

• Son is looking for a job, so prayer for opportunities.

• Best friend’s mom is dealing with heart failure. Has Dr. appt. Friday, needing prayer for good news.

• Friend is due to have first baby girl in November.

• Need prayer for oldest son to find a wife.

• Prayer for sister and her husband, he has asked for a divorce. They are having a meeting tomorrow night to discuss divorce. Husband stays and will stay married until youngest is 18 (now nine years old). Prayer that God does His will, surrendering her husband to Him and prayers that the meeting goes well. Sister just started college and her older son will be getting married next October.

• Continued personal growth, and a job suited for me.

• Family relationships and financial help.

• The world to come to Christ and myself to be a light and encouragement to others.

• Peace and comfort for daughter, as her father has cancer, prayer for him to be healed and not suffer too much.

• Sister-in-law’s mom had a heart attack and wasn’t found for two days and is brain dead, on life support. Prayer for her and her family, as she is flying to Arizona to make final arrangements, safe flight, peace and comfort during this time.

• Daughter needs prayers, living on the streets, redemption.

• Prayer for older son.

• Troubled fifteen-year-old. Needs guidance with son.

• Mom and sisters’ relationship, for an opportunity to reconcile before wedding in October.

• A friends’ attitude.

• A cousin’s girlfriend’s aunt is in hospice. She has 24-48 hours to live.

• Prayer for sister’s back pain and request prayer for peace.

• Prayer for sister selling her house and peace during move.

• Sister needing life to slow down, time to breathe. Bunion surgery – prayers for timing.

• Thirteen-year-old has girlfriend – follow God’s plan.

• Grandson, 19 years old, has a lot of recovery ahead, prayer for new surgeon.

• Prayers for health, healing for neck and back.

• Prayer for husbands’ wisdom tooth, day 3.

• Prayer for a sister who has an ectopic pregnancy, looking for embryo. Surgery or medicated exit of embryo.

• Sister’s oldest daughter needs a hysterectomy. Health continues.

• Sister’s husband had prostate cancer, and surgery. Two great check-ups and pray is stays away.

• Prayer for my children and parents.

• Husband fractured foot.

• Sister has injury to toe, due to a fall, arthritis.

• Sister has MS and is having pain.

• Sister needs prayer for knees, swelling making it difficult to walk.

• Children moved away, and sister is still adjusting.

• Sister’s daughter is having migraines and was in the hospital. Referral to doctors, looking for answers.

• Sister-in-law’s father-in-law passed away.

• Sister having transportation issues, needs dial-a-ride to accept application.
